Missional Communities

Missional Communities are small to mid-sized groups that meet to share their lives together around a common focus. Missional Communities will be rooted in a rhythm of praying together, reading the Bible and meeting in one another’s home regularly. Unlike a regular Small Group, however, a Missional Community will be united around a desire to connect with a particular neighbourhood or network of people in order that they might share the Good News of Jesus within the context of friendship and a shared life.

A Missional Community might be based around a particular locality, or a common interest or a stage of life.

Whatever their focus, these communities seek to structure their way of life around three dimensions: UP (worship of God), IN (relationships with one another) and OUT (connecting with the world beyond the church).
